Philadelphia is the biggest city in Pennsylvania and the sixth largest city in the United States. It is also the former capital of the United States of America. Being the birthplace of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, Philadelphia is also known as the city of brotherly love. It is a popular tourist destination, with over 10 million visitors every year. Philadelphia is split into several districts, including Old City, Center City, West Philadelphia and South Streets. The most popular tourist attractions include the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, the first two being the city’s most famous. If you want to learn about the history of the Revolutionary War and the Declaration of Independence, then check out Independence Hall (also known as the “Birthplace of America”).
